At Buckboard, we believe that every person has something to give, and we'd like to encourage you to consider giving your time, talents, or resources to help Buckboard continue to meet its goals!

"Bucks for Buckboard"

Currently, Buckboard operates with support from United Way and other grant-making organizations, but the majority of its operating and rider sponsorship costs come from local businesses and individuals who pledge their time and resources to make sure everyone who could benefit from Therapeutic Riding is able to do so.  Sponsorship of both horses and riders are available to anyone who wishes to financially support this worthy cause.  Any sized donation goes directly toward the services that Buckboard provides at no cost to its riders.  One of the biggest goals that Buckboard hopes to meet is to build an indoor arena.  This arena would enable riders to continue their therapy throughout the year, and would open up therapeutic horseback riding to even more children.  Become a "Bucks for Buckboard" donor, and feel confident knowing that your money is going to such a worthy cause!  Of course, all donations are tax-deductible!

Volunteers are a crucial part of the services Buckboard provides, and there are many opportunities available for ordinary citizens to contribute their time and enthusiasm.  Buckboard operates on a 16-week schedule during the warmer months, so if you have a passion for helping worthy causes, please fill out our Volunteer Application!
